And here i want to tell you a story, on how i found he has influence me so much, at a point where there is no one else can influence. This man has influence me more than anyone have ever done.
Who is he?
TotalBiscuit is a youtuber and a game curator. He makes videos about games, as you figure and critic them, recommending or not. His style of video is non edited and very straight forward. He has been doing that for years and long. He has influence a lot of people, to be honest, in marketing overall. This is not only about games, as anyone can learn from him. Theres a lot you can learn from him, and while not everything can be agreed upon, most of his point are on the dot. 4 years ago, he diagnose to have stage 3 cancer. While the intial operation able to remove cancer, it was back after a few month and it got worse. It soon got to a point where he retired from being a curator. a month after that, he has passed away. How he has influence me?
I think that the biggest thing he has influence me to be open minded, open to anything and open to critic themselves. Try anything that interest you. This has led to me opening up to indie games. Its the sole reason why i can make reviews on games, its the sole reason why i keep playing games , its the sole reason why gaming never bored me. Since he open me up to more games than ever, unique games came to flow in, games does not become boring as much as it used to be!He also thought me to take harsh on technical difficulty, not opinion. To look at many different angle, and to do a lot of research. See if anyone would love this, and dont take opinion as a fact. Set harsh on technical, glitches and bug that are gamebreaking are not allow, and dont take too much account on graphic.
He is the sole reason why im still here my friend, why im still play games, why i keep on playing indie games. Without him, this world would be in different place, i wont be here. And now losing him, the world wont be the same without him.
Rest in peace, John "TotalBiscuit" Bain
We all will never forget you. Always remember.
